Maple Banana Bread

Maple Banana Bread is a delicious twist on the classic banana bread, incorporating the natural sweetness of maple syrup. This moist and flavorful bread is perfect for breakfast, dessert, or a snack.

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients:

    • In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas, maple syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg. Mix until well blended.
  3. Combine Dry Ingredients:

    • In a separate bowl, whisk together the baking soda, salt, and flour. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. If using, fold in the chopped pecans.
  4. Bake:

    • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Cool:

    • Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  6. Serve:
