Maple Glazed Meatloaf

Maple Glazed Meatloaf combines savory and sweet flavors with a rich maple syrup and ketchup glaze. Perfect for family dinners, this recipe is easy to prepare and full of delicious flavors.

Ingredients:

  • Meatloaf:

    • 1 lb ground beef
    • 1 lb ground pork
    • 1 cup breadcrumbs
    • 1/2 cup milk
    • 1 egg
    • 1 small onion, finely chopped
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Maple Glaze:

    • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
    • 2 tbsp ketchup
    • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
    • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare Meatloaf:

    • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape Meatloaf:

    • Transfer the meat mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
  4. Make Glaze:

    • In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, ketchup, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar.
  5. Apply Glaze:

    • Brush half of the glaze over the top of the meatloaf.
  6. Bake:

    • Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for 45 minutes. Remove from the oven, brush with the remaining glaze, and return to the oven for an additional 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  7. Rest and Serve:

    • Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve and enjoy!
