Maple Muffins

Maple Muffins are a delightful treat that combine the rich flavor of maple syrup with the fluffy texture of a classic muffin. Perfect for breakfast or a snack, these muffins are easy to make and delicious.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease it.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients:

    • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Mix Wet Ingredients:

    • In another bowl, combine the melted butter, maple syrup, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine:

    • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in the chopped nuts if using.
  5. Fill Muffin Tin:

    • Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake:

    • Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool:

    • Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Serve:
